Hi! I am currently being an antisocial hermit and not monitoring my blog comments. If you are in mortal peril and need to contact me, you can reach me at wingitvegan (at) gmail.com. Back to my hermit cave now.

UPDATE: Looks like I'm on YouTube now. I made a few cooking videos. Let's see how long that lasts. They are ASMR-friendly videos with no talking or background music, only cooking sounds. ASMR videos have helped me cope with anxiety, so I thought I'd try to make my own. If you're one of those people who don't experience ASMR, then the videos might seem a bit... *odd*.

Cherry tomatoes, basil, and curious visitors

A few weeks ago, my mother in law gave us two cherry tomato plants and a beautiful basil plant. The basil has grown incredibly tall and leafy, and we've had quite a few cute little 'maters!

Of course us humans aren't the only ones enjoying the bountiful crops. There's a little bee that comes to feast on the basil flowers every single day, and the squirrels are mystified by the whole pot of aromatic stuff. They walk around it ever so sneakily, like this one in this awfully taken picture...

Very healthy looking plants!! I am a huge fan of basil in the form of pesto sauce and also vegan green curry (which I always order at Vegan-Thai places.)
