VeganMoFo - MoFo has left the building (Graveyard Cake)

[cue somber music]

It's the end of the Vegan MoFo as we know it. MoFo has left us with hundreds of blog posts, countless recipes, and invaluable anecdotes and stories . Now it's time to say goodbye. I am celebrating MoFo's life with a few of my own MoFo goodies. Ah, MoFo brought us much chocolate.

This sad, droopy graveyard cake is topped with the tombstones from my Graveyard Cupcakes, as well as Happy Halloweegan Pumpkins (though they forgot to say "cheese" for the photo here), Chocolate Spiders, and the little Happy Vegan Ghosts who started the whole Halloweegan insanity. There are only three ghosts on this cake: the Ghost of MoFo past, present and future.

I made it! Twenty posts! This month has been so much fun. Thank you again for ALL your wonderfully nice and inspiring comments!

You can find my entire Halloweegan series here. And here's a list of amazing Halloween inspired food posts from other spooky MoFo participants:

  5. Hi,
Yesterday I made the one eyed veggie monsters and stuffed peppers for my Mum, Dad and brother! (I filled the peppers with brown rice, pine nuts, lemon juice, parsley, basil, onion and squash. Yum!)
They loved it! The one eyed veggie monsters tasted wonderful; they had a very clean and yummi vegetable taste, perfect for introducing vegan food for non vegans I think. It was a very succesful Halloweegan dinner:)
Thanks so much for these tasty, creative recipes! I can't wait to try out more of them!

  12. oh yeah, you killed it. great job. I loved your posts. Totally rad.

I almost made everyday, but was foiled by a crappy internet connection at a motel 6. It's driving me nuts. Still, I did 30 out of 31, which will just have to be good enough.

I did a halloween post yesterday - with 3 or 4 different baked goods, including Pan de Muerto. It was fun!

I made a graveyard cake once for my sister's bday, she's a halloween bday girl. She always had much cooler cakes than me - I'm on feb 15, blah!
